Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Our driver will pick you up from Delhi airport and take you to the booked hotel in Delhi. Check-in at the hotel and spend the day at leisure followed by comfortable overnight stay.

Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing - Agra by Road (200 kms / 4 hours)

Savour the complimentary breakfast and then get ready to leave for sightseeing of the city. Catch the sight of notable Government buildings as we drive past them.

The first visit will be to UNESCO-listed heritage site ‘Red Fort’ built by Emperor Shah Jahan. Move to next site ‘Jama Masjid’, the largest mosque in India built opposite Red Fort. Click pictures at ‘India Gate’, the memorial to all Indian soldiers who died in World War I. Spend some time in the busy streets of ‘Chandni Chowk’ trying out tongue-tingling local snacks and enjoying cheap shopping.

Cover two other UNESCO world heritage sites of Delhi viz. Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar showcasing Mughal architectectures. Sign off the day with a peaceful visit to Bahai ‘Lotus Temple’. The magnificent Lotus like edifice is surrounded by sprawling lush garden where you can walk around.

After witnessing the marvels of Delhi, you will leave for Agra in the afternoon. Reach Agra in the evening and check-in at the hotel. Enjoy the hospitality of hotel and an overnight stay.            

Day 03: Agra Sightseeing - Jaipur by Road (240 kms / 4 hours)

Wake up early in the morning and leave for Taj Mahal to witness the mesmerizing sunrise view. Enter the Taj Mahal through a huge gateway adorned with calligraphy from black stone of the verses of Quran. Moving forward the view of lush Mughal Garden with designer fountains will leave you in awe. The sprawling Garden is a perfect path to reach the stunning ivory-white monument. It is a mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jahan dedicated to his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It exhibits complex artwork inspired by flowers, motifs, verses from Quran, etc. You can see the laudable work plastered all over the walls and ceilings.Return to the hotel after having a refreshing morning experience. Savour the breakfast  Afterwards, walk towards the UNESCO-listed heritage site ‘Agra Fort’ lying in proximity of the Taj Mahal. It is a high-rise fortification used by Mughals for protection from the enemies. The red colored architecture is also called Red sandstone Fortress.

You will be then directed to Jaipur in an air-conditioned car with en-route visit to Fatehpur Sikri. It is an Indo-Islamic architecture displaying – 54 m high entrance Buland Darwaza, tomb of Salim Chisti, Ibadat Khana, Birbal’s house & Panch Mahal.

Continue your journey to Jaipur followed by drop at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 04: Jaipur Sightseeing

Have a pleasant morning relishing the scrumptious breakfast. Go on the sightseeing tour on chauffeur driven air-conditioned car. Jaipur is a colorful city belonging to the royal Rajputs of Rajasthan state. The city has maintained its standard garnering accolades in high-end hospitality by its luxurious hotels.  

Visit the main attractions of city Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, City Palace & Jantar Mantar. Amber Fort is also famous for elephant ride till the entrance of its gate. Hawa Mahal is built by Swai Pratap Singh made of red and pink sandstone. Jantar Mantar is an astronomical observatory constructed by Maharaja Swai Jai Singh II.

After the city tour you will be dropped back safely at the hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 05: Jaipur – Delhi by Road (260 kms / 5 hours)

After having breakfast you will be transferred to Delhi in an air-conditioned car. The driver will drop you at the hotel in Delhi. Take rest and enjoy the comfortable stay.

Day 06: Delhi – Dharamshala by Flight (1 hour) + Sightseeing

The driver will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and drop at the airport. Board the scheduled flight to next destination Dharamshala. It is a serene hill-station tucked on the sky-high mountains of Indian state Himachal Pradesh.

Enjoy sightseeing of the cool hill-station in the lukewarm afternoon Sun. Climb the slopes of mountain to visit : Chamunda Devi Temple, Chinmaya Tapovan, Norbulingka Institute, Dal Lake, Dalai Lama Temple and McLeodganj Market.

 Chamunda Devi temple is famous 700 yrs old religious temple situated 17 kms away from Dharamshala i.e 40 mins drive by road. Chinmay Tapovan (10 kms away) is an ashram complex set up by Swami Chinmayananda on banks of rivulet Bindu Saras. It offers courses on learning holy book of Hindus Geeta. It features 9 m high image of Lord Hanuman, a Ram temple, a meditation hall, a school, and a health and recreation center.

‘Norbulinka Institute’ is contributing in an effort to keep the Tibetan culture alive. It conducts cultural workshops and traditional arts open for all. Then drive 25 mins to reach ‘Dal lake’ (10 kms away) holding religious importance with the shrine of Lord Shiva on its banks. ‘Dalai Lama Temple’ is 4 kms distant taking 20 mins to reach. Dalai Lama lives here with few other monks and occasionally makes public appearance. You can get a chance to see him in his lecture provided be aware of his schedule. Later, take a walk in the Mcleodganj market and enjoy the winter sun. Get back to hotel and have a relaxing stay.   

Day 07: Dharamshala

Have breakfast and then get ready to leave for excursion covering not-to-missed-sites. Render a treat to your eyes visiting: Masroor Rock cut Temple, Kangra Fort, Vaijreshwari Devi Temple. These are scattered around Dharamshala and date back to hundreds of years ago. Notice the intricate carvings on 8th century ‘Rock Cut Temple’, visit one of oldest fort in India ‘Kangra Fort’ which is also mentioned in Mahabharata and pay homage to Godess Vajreshwari at its Temple featuring stony fortified wall and drum house. Sign off the enchanting day sipping hot coffee and cherishing the window view of swaying mountains from hotel in the evening.

Day 08: Dharamshala – Delhi by Flight

Relish the breakfast served by hotel and bask in the soothing warm sun of fresh morning. Our driver will come to pick you up and drop at the airport to leave for Delhi. Bid adieu to the gorgeous hill station and have a safe onward journey.
