6 Days Golden Triangle and Amritsar Tour with Flights

Escape into the interesting culture of beautiful India. Delhi, Jaipur and Agra are some of the prime cities that attract tourists to the land of India. On this Golden Triangle Tour, you can unravel the culture of Delhi. Delve into the architectural marvels of Jaipur’s forts. Also, explore the most visited Taj Mahal in the city of Taj. Not just this, explore the incredible Golden Temple in Amritsar encapsulated by the holy Sarovar. Built in 1604, it houses one of the largest free kitchens in the world. Daily food is served to an average of around 1,00,000 people.

Day 1: Arrival Delhi
The Golden Triangle Tour with Golden Temple will begin between 7 to 9 am. You will be received from Delhi’s hotel or airport. From here, head towards a sightseeing tour of Delhi. The journey to explore the madness of Delhi will start with your drive past the Red Fort. This will be followed by your visit to Jama Masjid and a fun-filled Rickshaw ride in Chandni Chawk of Old Delhi. Post that, you will be taken to the Humanyun's Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 
The next attraction on our list is India Gate, it is a 42-meter tall archway built in the reminiscence of soldiers. Post this, have an outer glimpse of the Parliament House and the Rashtrapati Bhawan (President’s House). Later on, head to Lotus temple. (Closed on Monday if you do this tour on that day, then we provide outside visit only)
Later on, drive towards the Qutub Minar, the world’s tallest tower built in the 11th century. After that, we will drop you back to the Hotel. This will be followed by an overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 2: New Delhi – Jaipur by Road (260 km / 5 hours)
Post breakfast, head to Jaipur for sculpting the royal tales of the city. Reach Jaipur, check in at the hotel and freshen up. You will be soon joined by our local guide. From here, head towards exploring the city of Jaipur. First, head to the City Palace, wherein you can see a wide collection of weapons, antique items, artifacts, dresses and jewelry of the bygone era. Later on, head towards Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace). It is a five-storey palace with 953 windows. Take a visit to Jantar Mantar a fascinating observatory. Wrap up the day, with your visit to Birla Temple. Head back to the hotel for an overnight stay. 

Day 3: Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra by Road (240 kms / 5 hours)
After enjoying your breakfast, check out from the hotel. You will be received by an expert along with a driver. Head to Amber Fort, one of the magnificent forts in Rajasthan. Here, enjoy a fun-filled Elephant ride to Amber Fort. 
Post this, head to Agra. On the way, take a look at the marvel of Fatehpur Sikri built by Emperor Akbar. Next, continue your drive to Agra. Check in at the hotel. Later on, head to Agra Fort. It houses lofty palaces, beautifully crafted chambers, Masjids and much more. Enjoy an overnight stay in Agra. 
Note: The visit to Agra Fort is subjected to the availability of time. 

Day 4: Agra – Delhi by Road (200 kms / 4 hours) – Amritsar by Flight
Enjoy the marvels of Taj Mahal, a monument visited by over 8 million people every year. Visit Agra Fort if not covered on Day 3. Next, drive to the Marble factory and some other shops of Agra. In the end, our driver will take you to the Delhi’s Airport. Here, board the flight to Amritsar. Reach Amritsar in a time of around 1 hour. Our driver will receive you from the city’s airport taking you to the hotel. Check in at the hotel. Enjoy an overnight stay in Amritsar.

Day 5: Amritsar
Have a warm breakfast at the hotel. Later on, go for a sightseeing tour of Amritsar. Here, have a look at the "Golden Temple", a holy place of Sikh. This divine place is surrounded by a beautiful Sarovar. It is said that taking bath in this Sarovar will take away the pain and sorrows of the person doing so. 

After Golden Temple, you will be driven to the Jalianwala Bagh. This will take you back to the bloodbath held in 1919 wherein around 1,000 innocent people were killed by British Brigadier General Reginald Dyer.
Post Jallianwala Bagh, enjoy a fun-filled time shopping at Hall Bazaar and another local bazaar of Amritsar. Purchase ornaments, handicrafts, books, electronics, garments and many other things. Afterward, our driver will drop you to the hotel for some refreshment. Around 3 PM, the driver will receive you from the hotel. From here, drive to the  Wagah Border for Evening Indo – Pak parade ceremony.

Wagah Border is based at a distance of around 29 kms from Amritsar. You will be taken to the foreigner gallery (Note - Access to the gallery is permissible for foreign nationals only). Here, see the parade of Indian Border Security Force and Pakistani Rangers. The air is filled with patriotic songs. The entire ceremony is enjoyed by every visitor with great zeal and calling out ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’, ‘Jai Hind’ and ‘Vande Matram’. 

Post ceremony, the driver will drop you back to the hotel. Enjoy an overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 6: Amritsar – Delhi Flight
Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel. You can spend some time in local markets of Amritsar for shopping. Afternoon; transfer to the airport to board a flight back to Delhi.

a trip to remember

Awesome Golden Triangle tour
