Qutub Minar Visiting Hours

Plan Your Trip

The second most visited monument in India, second only to the Taj Mahal, the Qutub Minar is a masterpiece that will leave you impressed with its unparalleled magnificence. During your tour to Delhi, you can’t miss a visit to this grand monument. Interestingly, the Qutub Minar is open for its visitors throughout the week so you can head to South Delhi and will not be disappointed no matter what day you choose to visit. However, we would suggest that you plan your trip on a weekday instead of a weekend as weekends tend to get a little too overcrowded in the Qutub Complex.

The entry timings of Qutub Minar were from 7:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the evening but in order to increase the prospects of night tourism, government has extended the time to 9:00 PM.
The best time to visit Qutub Minar generally is in the evening as the monument looks stunning in the golden hue of the setting sun but if you want to witness the ultimate charm of the minaret, you have got to see it all lit-up at night. The sight of a golden light illuminating the enormous tower is a treat to the eyes. If you want to make your Qutub Minar visit all the more memorable, it is advised that you plan your Delhi tour in the month of October to February as the winter season is the most apt time to explore the city without being a victim of the unbearable heat of the scorching sun. So, visit Qutub Minar in a pleasant weather to make the most of your excursions.
