How To Reach Taj Mahal By Road

Plan Your Trip

If you love adventures then a road trip is probably something that you can never say no to. A road trip to Taj Mahal is a great holiday idea as you not only get to visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World but also enjoy a fun ride to Agra, viewing the scenic sights as they pass by you. More importantly, if you travel by cab, you can make a halt at any place that interests you and won’t be constrained by anyone which makes road trips the most exciting mode of travelling. Travelling by bus is also very enticing and the cheapest way to reach Agra. The Agra ISBT and Idgah bus stand have good connectivity with all major cities so reaching Agra would be a cake-walk. Here is how you can reach Agra by road in multiple ways:

By a taxi- Travelling by cab to Agra may be an adventurous idea. You can easily book a taxi from your city and head to the Taj Mahal. If you are travelling from Delhi to Agra, this is the most convenient option as it is a mere 4 hours drive and also an affordable means. However, if you are visiting from places like Chennai, Mumbai, Goa, etc. it will not only be a pretty long and tiresome journey but will also cost you much more than travelling by air or trains.

By a bus- This is the cheapest mode of conveyance and if you enjoy bus journeys then probably the most exciting and adventurous too. You can travel from your city’s bus stand to the Idgah Bus Stand in Agra or Agra ISBT which are both a mere 10 to 15 minutes away from the Taj Mahal.

By private transfers- For people who can’t deal with last-minute issues and like to pre-plan their journeys, this is the most convenient option. You can now book private transfer services to Taj Mahal from various cities like Delhi, Jaipur, Gwalior etc. to commute easily.
